The ideal candidate for this role would be a highly analytical and skilled financial modeling professional with a degree in electrical engineering and a background in energy. As the Energy Analyst, you will support the companys executive decision making through various analytical activities. You will analyse complex energy data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of opportunity for improvement. You will also be responsible for building financial models to evaluate the feasibility and preferability of various proposed actions. You will conduct research with specific focus on aspects such as macroeconomic factors, technology trends, market and competitive landscape. You will then identify forecast parameters that drive the companys business toward profitability.

Education Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Certification in Financial Modeling
- 3-5 years of work experience within the renewable energy sector.
- Experience in building financial models from scratch using relevant tools and languages such as Excel, Python and SQL
- Familiar with financial reports and investment analysis
Responsibilities include analysing energy data, and using the results to recommend informative action, building financial models using excel or relevant languages such as Python or SQL. The Energy Analyst will also be responsible creating comprehensive analytical systems, tools and templates for the team to use and they will be expected to develop systems and policies that will be used as avenues to deal with client and company concerns.
