About the Role
We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 6 talented engineers in building scalable, high-performance systems. As an Engineering Manager, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of innovative, scalable, and maintainable solutions that align with business objectives
- Drive technical excellence by promoting best practices, resolving complex challenges, and fostering a collaborative environment
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, aligning technical roadmaps with business goals while communicating risks and opportunities effectively
- Focus on team growth, ensuring engineers have the tools, guidance, and support to excel in their roles
Technical Leadership
- Guide the team in designing and developing scalable solutions.
- Oversee system architecture, balancing innovation with maintainability and performance.
- Ensure smooth execution of complex, cross-functional projects.
- Champion best practices, testing, and quality assurance in all deliverables.
- Mentor, coach, and grow engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and innovation.
- Provide clear feedback, career guidance, and motivation to help team members excel.
- Build cohesion across frontend and backend squads, ensuring alignment on goals and delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement in workflows, observability, and incident management.
- Balance priorities between new feature development, system maintenance, and bug fixing
We are looking for a dynamic leader who is passionate about technology and thrives in a rapidly growing organization. To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in React, Tailwind, Angular, C#, .NET, SQL, MongoDB, Kafka.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure or similar) is highly valued.
- Familiarity with financial/booking systems.
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven systems, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Solid grounding in CI/CD, test automation, and Agile practices.
- iGaming industry experience
