Engineering manager is needed in Phalaborwa, Limpopo.
Job requirements:
- The engineering manager will demonstrate continuous improvement knowledge and ensure the development and implementation of the strategy for the Engineering and Maintenance functions of the plant, making sure the plant machinery and equipment is operating at a reliable standard
- Undertaking strategic planning activities with the senior management team and in line with customer and business needs
- Lead responsibilities for continuous improvement programmes
- Ensure environment, health and safety is at the centre of all site activity
- Manage maintenance spend in line with company policy
- Execute the GMR2 responsibilities in order to comply with OHSACT
