Semiskilled fitter. I have been doing this job for 13 years now, working with belt and chain drives alligning and maintaining them. Installing and allingning gearboxes, shearing machines and maintaining. Attending rolling mill breakdowns and also doing preperatory maintenance when theres no production. I can work under pressure, with a team or even alone. I am also working with hydroulics and pnumatic cylinders. I had an opportunity to attend a fitting training with the SAJ competence college for trade test, and i am waiting for my trade test date to write my trade. Academically i have metric certificate and Fitting and turning N2. I also have a code 10 drivers licence.

Boilermaking.It is an iteresting trade because with steel you can do whatever you want.You come across new shapes of projects on daily basis.
