Online English Teachers Needed – Part-Time (Weekends Only)

A highly respected language school in China is seeking professional, reliable, part-time online English teachers to join our team. Teaching hours are primarily on Saturdays and Sundays between 08:30 and 18:30 (Beijing Time).
This opportunity is ideal for university students, new teachers, or retired teachers looking to earn additional income on weekends.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct oral English assessments to evaluate students’ progress.
- Lead review classes using fully provided teaching materials.
- Attend training sessions—standardisation across all branches is essential, and comprehensive training will be provided.
Requirements
- Teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
- Accredited TEFL/TESOL certification required.
- BA degree or proof of enrolment at an accredited university.
- Sober, professional habits—you will represent a respected school within the community.
- Minimum commitment: 6–12 months, with annual contract renewal.
- Preference given to candidates with:
- Online teaching experience
- Experience preparing students for Cambridge exams (A2–C1)
- We are especially interested in South African teachers with a neutral accent, but other nationalities are welcome if you meet all requirements and have C2-level English with a clear accent.
Compensation
- US $7per hour (negotiable depending on experience) — approximately ZAR 130 per hour (depending on current exchange rate).
- Performance review after 3 months
