Strategic Transformation Enterprise Solution Architect

Scope
  • Core responsibilities include architecting, designing, implementing and advising for Softline (e.g. Clothing, General Merchandise) Tier 1 retail clients across an end-to-end supply chain scope, extending across Planning and Execution solutions, as well as Platform
  • Designing, developing and maintaining BY Blueprint architecture collateral and collaborating with Consulting Directors on BY Blueprint business process and organisational design collateral.
  • Playing a pivotal role as an anchor for the rest of the consulting resources on a customer engagement
What Youll Do
  • Lead architecture and design discussions for large scale, Tier 1 clothing and general merchandise retail transformations, and run End-to-End design authorities to ensure compliance and mitigate risk through detailed design and build
  • Supports business process analysis or design/construction phase from an architecture perspective on the project, that leads to writing functional specifications.
  • Create templates and artifacts towards reusability and automation decreasing implementation lifecycle, reducing errors post go-live and efficient support operations.
  • Supports alignment with detailed business process blueprints for a given Domain and sub-vertical by working in collaboration with Consulting Directors
  • Leads the project team to design and develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens to ensure smooth integration between technical and functional business requirements.
  • Creates and modifies procedural and system documentation throughout the project
  • Supports Project Managers in detailed task planning on overall project plan (i.e. during sales cycle, after the project plan is complete, or based on enhancements) with an ability to estimate effort of task level implementation activities that are within the scope of the project and recommend appropriate role to execute those tasks.
  • Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team. Is a thought leader in their Product Solution area of focus and is able to apply that knowledge to customer situations.
  • Communicates and/or supports the business cases to Product Development teams, regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements while also identifying incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers / projects.
  • Serves as a functional liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, Solution Architects, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors
  • Develops functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens that meet the customers' business objectives and are of sound design.
  • Supports the development and execution of test scripts to ensure BY software consistently meets the customer's business objectives.
  • Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices in architecture and process methodology. Provides non-technical support during the "go-live" period and knowledge transition during project roll-off.
  • Liaises between various stakeholders on a project including BY Consultants, Customer / partner consultants, Business users, IT, PMO, Change team, Cloud and Product teams to ensure the intended business objectives and value can be realized
  • Provides primary user non-technical support and verifies that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrity. Provides guidance to support services in responding to base technical issues
  • Has full command and accountability for the E2E Solution & Application architecture on a project, to enable the intended business value. Maintains a detailed knowledge of the technical integration architecture in the landscape and an ability to support technical design discussions
  • Performs new product solution validation and end-to-end data flow, solution, interface, workflow & reports and performance testing. Raise Jira & case tickets & provide feedback to Product teams on defects & enhancements.
  • Communicates business cases to Product teams regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements. Interacts with Product teams regarding new releases and new functionality and acts as the liaison to communicate to the rest of the team

  • Understands how the BY solutions within area of focus can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes (ensuring ability to design, execute, and deliver).
