Equity Analyst

Hire Resolve's client is looking for an experienced Equity Analyst to join their team of professionals in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

Content development and delivery:

Collaborate with colleagues to identify and interpret information requirements
Finalising commentary with internal stakeholders and data checking

Interpersonal & Development

Knowledge sharing - share and transfer product, process, and systems knowledge to colleagues
Share success stories, trends, and ideas
Bring any issues to the attention of the Head of Distribution Services and resolve these
Collaborate and work with teams to deliver required service in excellence
Ensure your performance and growth objectives are achieved by developing your Fairtree Individual
Growth Journey to facilitate personal and professional growth

Requirements

Appropriate finance qualification, eg. CA(SA), Bcom Investment Management, CFA
BEng or LLB qualification also considered
2 3 years working in financial markets within the fund management industry.
4 - 5 years work experience
Financial modelling (in Excel)
PowerPoint proficient

Strong analytical reasoning and attention to detail
Being process driven, good at problem-solving and innovative
Being a team player and a good communicator with a belief in strong, open and honest relationships with internal and external stakeholders (incl. service providers)
Self-starter with a proactive can-do attitude
Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with automation tools will be advantageous
