National Diploma( Civil Eng/Building/QS)
Min 5 years experience within the construction industry
Must be able to estimate tenders
lExperience and knowledge of frequently used practices, concepts and procedures within construction
Thorough knowledge of CCS (site plan and estimating) imperativeTender experience and winning track record imperative\
Computer literate and excellent in MS Office
Valid drivers licence is essential
Duties
Identifies labour, material, and time requirements by studying previous data and specifications.
Computes costs by analysing labour, material, and time requirements.
Adjudicates subcontractor prices
Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
Prepares special reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
Maintains historic tender information
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Risk evaluation of documents
Contract review reports
