EMPLOYMENT POLICY ADVISOR
  • Provide support on new and existing conditions of service.
  • Undertaking market research in order to establish trends in the private and public sectors in order to provide cost effective benefits.
  • Manage the policy process for new and existing policies.
  • Undertake stakeholder consultation both internally and externally with the view to submitting equitable policy proposals and facilitate policy workshops as required.
  • Manage and control the policy procedures/SOP process for new and existing policies.
  • Compiling and maintaining a comprehensive policy procedures manual.
  • Undertake research within the public and private sectors as well as internationally.
  • Conducting cost benefit analysis relating to employment policies and conditions of service.
  • Plan and control monitoring and evaluation.
  • Manage the Human Resources information system.
  • Establishing and maintaining manuals and electronic databases.
SENIOR EMPLOYMENT POLICY ADVISOR
  • Plan and control the development and implementation of New and existing conditions of service.
  • Plan and manage the policy process for new and existing policies.
  • Manage and control the policy procedures process for new and existing policies.
  • Plans and control research within the public and private sectors as well as internationally
  • Co-ordination and maintain a collaborative research networks nationally as well as internationally within the public and private sectors.
  • Plan and control Human Capital projects.
  • Develop Policy Performance Monitoring Plans (PMP) and strategies for outcome measures.
  • Manage and maintain the Human Capital Information system
  • Provide management support.
  • Ensuring that staff deliver on the vision and mission of the Municipality.
  • Undertake the ISO 9001 2015 functionality.
  • Represents the Municipality at Provincial Government level in the development of norms and standards for the Municipal sector through South Africa.
  • Provide Audit responses for the Head Human Capital in response to the non-compliance issues within the Employment policies context.
Essential Requirements

EMPLOYMENT POLICY ADVISOR
  • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resource Management or Labour Relations or Public
  • Administration or any other related and equivalent qualification.
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license
  • 4 Years relevant experience.
  • Computer Literacy.
SENIOR EMPLOYMENT POLICY ADVISOR
  • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resource Management or Labour Relations or Public
  • Administration or any other related and equivalent qualification.
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license
  • 5 Years relevant experience.
  • Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements

  • Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resource Management or Labour Relations or Public
  • Administration or any other related and equivalent qualification.
  • 5 Years relevant experience.
