Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and engage guests with professionalism and charm.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Monitor and restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Handle cash, card, and POS transactions accurately.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
- Create and suggest drink specials and signature cocktails in collaboration with management.
- Support fellow team members during busy shifts and foster a positive team environment.
- Prevent loss through careful stock handling and reporting any discrepancies.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a barman in a high-volume or boutique bar environment.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wines, beers, and barista-level coffee (a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, well-presented, and customer-focused.
- Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic cash handling.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
Preferred Attributes
- Mixology training or certification.
- Barista experience.
