Voltex (Pty) Ltd is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the role of External Sales Representative for the Witbank branch. This incumbent will be reporting to the Branch Manager.

The purpose of this role is to actively seek out and engage both existing as well as new customer prospects and to, provide solutions for customers in order to boost revenue growth.

Your Areas Of Responsibility

Maintain sales and support to existing clients in the area allocated
Compile an accurate and comprehensive data base on customers and their relationships/influences
Generate growth of allocated and new customer base
Prepare and conduct presentations to customers
Conduct exhibitions and customer specific training if required
Prepare and report on sales for your area allocated
Attend key project or customer meetings
Report on competitor activities in the area
Compile monthly sales review and forecasts against agreed targets
Perform other duties as directed by management
Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs
Promote customer understanding of full product understanding of full products offering and align to provide a solution
Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
Consulting to Specifiers, Influencers and Engineering Consultants in the area

Qualifications We Are Looking For

A valid Grade 12 certificate is a MUST
A tertiary technical qualification preferably in Electrical Field is an ADVANTAGE
A minimum of 3-4 years Electrical Sales experience
Knowledge of electrical industry
Valid drivers licence is a MUST
Computer literate preference will be given to users with strong K8 knowledge
