We are looking for a Facilitator for a homeschool tutor centre in Parkmore, Sandton. The successful candidate should be able to carry out the following duties:
- - Prepare a daily program
- - Assisting learners in self-study
- - Keep records of enrolments
- - Keep register of attendance
- - Mark assignments, such as orals and dramatic performances
- - Submit tasks to IMPAK for marking
- - Enter marks on the IMPAK site
- - Explaining difficult work/ requesting assistance from Head office when a tutor is needed
- - Keep record of progress of each learner
- - Submitting a monthly report to Head office regarding the running of the centre
- - Planning excursions that supplement the curriculum (at least once per term)
- - Drawing up a budget for such excursions and any stationery or educational materials needed
- - Provide feedback to parents
- - Ensure that each child gets individual attention
Requirements:
- - Teaching diploma/degree
- - Teaching/tutoring experience
- - A genuine interest in the academic achievement of students
- - Fluent in English
Start date: 16 January 2017
Working hours: 7am to 2pm
