KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Quote Sourcing & Submission
- Obtain, compare, and present quotes for maintenance, repair, and capex projects across the region.
- Ensure quotes are aligned with Inospace procurement guidelines and that all service providers are compliant.
- Submit all quotes for internal approvals with supporting motivations.
- Conduct thorough inspections when clients vacate or occupy units, with a focus on damage, repair needs, and compliance.
- Capture findings in standard templates and coordinate remedial work as required.
- Ensure alignment with the Renewal Teams processes and timelines.
- Coordinate minor repair works across the parks, including overseeing contractors and grounds staff where required.
- Act as the liaison between Park Managers and external providers on routine maintenance issues.
- Assist in verifying completion and quality of ad hoc jobs.
- Capture and record accurate water readings across sites monthly or as needed.
- Flag abnormal consumption and escalate for investigation.
- Draft and submit project or capex motivations with supporting quotes and technical input.
- Liaise with the Projects Team to align motivations with budgets and park priorities.
- Support park teams with day-to-day operational issues, ad hoc requests, and emergencies.
- Facilitate logistics and communication on matters requiring head office involvement.
- Act as regional liaison for security service providers, including WhatsApp group monitoring and incident reporting.
- Escalate urgent matters to the Regional Operations Manager.
- Coordinate minor upgrades or adjustments to security infrastructure as required.
- Must be South African Citizen
- Must be willing to work onsite at various Business Parks in dedicated suburbs (based in the Cape Town CBD and travel out)
- Must have own reliable transport to travel between Business Parks
- Experience in Facilities or Property Maintenance coordination
- Strong practical knowledge of building maintenance and contractor management
- Ability to read and interpret quotes and technical submissions
- Attention to detail with a solution-oriented approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and task tracking tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have Industrial / Commercial Real Estate or Property experience running Business / Commercial spaces operationally
