Field Team Leader -KZN
A1 Financial Services is an authorized Financial Service Provider FSP No 47264, and we require a dynamic Team Leader to spearhead our long-term insurance Field sales campaign (Funeral) for a leading insurance brand. This position entails directing and managing sales agents, securing targets, and leading a successful team holistically. This position is for an energetic, ambitious target-oriented individual who is currently in a sales role. - Recruitment of new team members.
- Build relationships with businesses to create sales opportunities for your team in the stop order market.
- Train your team be self-sufficient to have the proper skills.
- Meet all company quality standards.
- Monthly performance reviews with your sales reps.
- Supervision appraisals when required for compliance.
- Daily attendance monitoring and leave management.
- Quality control for their sales on an ongoing basis.
- Sales coaching and support in the field.
- Managing the overall discipline of your team.
- Lead, motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve maximum performance and exceed targets.
- Create an environment of trust, respect, collaboration, and accountability in the sales team.
- Manage day-to-day activities of the sales team including setting goals, monitoring progress, and providing feedback.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant, regulations, policies, and procedures related to sales activities.
Core Competencies needed for the role:
- Product knowledge. Must have technical skills on the product as the Team Leader is required to coach and instruct
- Good supervisory skills.
- Demonstration of positive team player spirit.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- A keen eye for staff cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
- An understanding of how marketing materials are optimally utilised and kept presentable and in good condition is essential.
- Ability to be able to do physical labour such as moving and assembling stands is necessary.

Minimum Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months experience in a financial services / insurance industry in the STOP ORDER market.
- Matric (Grade 12) – Essential
- FAIS or RE – Desirable
- Strong communication and sales ability, objection handling, need creation.
- Excellent compliance and QA understanding
- Knowledge of Financial Service products.
- A car, drivers licence, and a smartphone are essential.
