Design7 is hiring a field onboarding specialist to install and activate payment devices (speedpoints/card machines) across Gauteng. This is a hands-on role: install, train, ensure the device works, submit docs correctly, and follow up after installation.
Key responsibilities
- Travel to scheduled merchant appointments across Gauteng
- Install payment devices (speedpoints/card machines) and complete onboarding steps
- Do a same-day test transaction wherever possible
- Train owner/staff (510 minutes) using a checklist
- Submit documentation accurately (first time) and update tracker within 24 hours
- Follow up post-install to ensure the merchant is transacting and supported
- Valid drivers license + reliable vehicle (non-negotiable)
- Strong admin discipline and attention to detail
- Professional communication (in-person + messaging/calls)
- Comfortable working in the field daily
