Field Services Consultant (KAUAI)

Your Purpose...
To consult to an assigned group of Franchisees so as to optimize sales, QSC, profit, and people development with the purpose of maximizing business potential for the Franchise organization. Key customers include Franchisees, Store Leadership Teams, and customers.

Your Duties and Responsibilities...

Franchise Relationships / Business Results
  • Ensure Operational Excellence in line with IGNITE
  • Acts as an advocate for the Franchisee and the Company, ensuring both points of view are clearly communicated
  • Identifies priority Franchisees and stores through IGNITE
  • Coaches the Franchisee to improve store performance
  • Provides rewards and recognition for Franchise and Management Teams
  • Organizes and conducts Franchise Business Meeting annually and/or according to Regional practice Provides recommendations on growth and re-write status to the Franchise Executive.
  • Assists the Franchisee in reviewing the development and execution of re-investment plans on an annual basis to include the opening of stores, re-builds, re-models, equipment purchases, etc.
  • Recommends and coordinates the assistance of Regional Support Staff when necessary
  • Assists in the training and development of selected individuals
  • Identifies presents and implements one special project per annum. The special project should be formally presented to FE and structured around improving the operations/financial performance of the region and could be used to other regions as necessary.
People
  • Demonstrates and reinforces the leadership behaviors to gain commitment from Franchisees and the respective store teams
  • Manage the trainers, by conducting Performance reviews, identify development areas and address by providing relevant training, scheduling and planning of weekly/monthly tasks
  • Identify, plan, implement and monitor personal development (growth/career path) of trainers
  • Identifying training needs within the region and utilizing resources to ensure training plans are introduced to the franchisee trainers or training store(s).
  • Giving feedback on ability/performance of franchisees assigned trainers to FE and the franchisee - minimum once per quarter
QSC/Sales Building
  • Protects the Kauai brand to ensure stores meet company QSC, safety and sanitation standards, through completion of IGNITE and EVEREST training audits
  • Consults and is accountable for working shoulder-to-shoulder with each Franchisee to improve the results of store systems (scheduling, ordering, training, planned maintenance, etc.) to create and accomplish long-term store objectives
  • Assists the Franchisee to ensure appropriate staffing exists to build the business
  • Uses all information resources available such as PMO, Gap Analysis, and Customer scorecard satisfaction Measurement etc. to identify opportunities and threats to build a business plan to optimize market potential
  • Coordinates implementation and execution of new products and processes within the markets
  • Works with Franchisees to ensure there is an on-going local marketing plan for each restaurant
  • Hold quarterly business reviews with each franchisee and their management teams, using scorecard as guideline to generate conversations and understanding of the business that leads to constructive action plans that will implement the necessary changes in their store(s) into the following quarter and beyond.
  • Compile actions plans based on Audit results.
  • Coordinate regularly with the VA CGM discussing trends and performance
  • Benchmark all financials
  • Update scorecards data
  • Recruit trainers with assistance from HR
Training
  • Manage and Implement overall training of store staff
  • Ensure Trainers are trained on all training programmes and operational processes
  • Monthly meetings with Trainers and managers/Franchisees
  • Conduct Training needs analysis and Identify development areas of staff and stores and schedule relevant training with trainer to address these needs.
  • Accountability for Annual review of training stores to ensure compliance by using Everest Audit
  • Accountable for Certification of the training store
  • Conduct EVEREST audit in all stores quarterly to ensure compliant
  • Sign off store management/Franchisee competency with trainer
  • New menu training coordination
