Finance Manager Native Global South Africa (Gauteng)
Native Power, a Ugandan-based company with operations across Africa (head office in Kampala), is seeking a motivated Finance Director to oversee the financial operations of its four South African entities.
These diverse businesses include:
- Villa Africa Boutique Hotel (upmarket boutique hotel in Pretoria with accommodation, events, conferences, and spa services)
- Lunikhy Game Farm (luxury game farm and wedding venue near Bela Bela)
- MedU Pharma (GMP-certified pharmaceutical manufacturer in Midrand, Johannesburg)
- A non-operational mining asset in Germiston
- Oversee financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to the head office in Uganda
- Manage tax submissions and ensure compliance with SARS and South African regulations
- Lead and mentor accountants from each of the four companies
- Drive financial strategy across hospitality, tourism, pharmaceutical, and asset management sectors
- University degree in Accounting; CA(SA) or CFA preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior finance role
- Strong knowledge of South African tax laws, SARS requirements, and financial reporting standards
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Full-time permanent position
- Primarily remote work, with a requirement to reside in Gauteng Province for occasional site visits (Pretoria, Midrand, Germiston, Bela Bela areas)

This vacancy pays between R30K and R50K per month, and is ideal for a candidate who has completed their degree and article/practical, but is still studying for CA.
