I am a motivated and detail-oriented Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting graduate from North-West University, with strong foundational knowledge in Financial Accounting, Taxation, Management Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Management. Education I hold a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12), which I completed in 2018 at Acorns to Oaks Comprehensive High School. I then furthered my studies, where I obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting at North-West University, South Africa. My majors for this degree were: Financial Accounting, Taxation, Management Accounting, Auditing and Financial Management. My Graduation Date was 22 May 2024. Work experience I am currently employed at Massmart Holdings Limited, resourced to Genpact as a Junior Bookkeeper, a position I have held since October 29, 2024. In this role, I am responsible for processing return transactions for one of Massmart's subsidiaries, Makro, using SAP and MOATS as primary accounting tools. I handle both online and in-store returns, ensuring that all transactions are accurately processed and recorded. My day-to-day responsibilities require a strong attention to detail, as I work with various accounting systems to maintain the integrity of financial records. Additionally, I am tasked with maintaining accurate financial transaction records and performing reconciliations of entries into the accounting systems. This includes ensuring that all transactions comply with accounting laws and meet reporting requirements. I rely on my knowledge of accounting principles and regulations to ensure the accuracy and legality of the financial data I manage. My role as a Junior Bookkeeper helps support the company's operational efficiency and financial compliance, contributing to the overall success of Massmart Holdings and its subsidiaries.
