A well-established company in the retail and manufacturing industry is seeking a Finance Specialist to join their dynamic team. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly impact financial strategy and compliance across the business.
POSITION INFO:
Financial Accountant
Retail & Manufacturing Sector
Location: Johannesburg East, Kempton Park
Salary: R 500 000 R 600 000 CTC per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile monthly financial reports and vet supporting schedules (customers, suppliers, and inventory both local and foreign)
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
- Maintain inter-company reconciliations
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT and tax returns
- Run the monthly salary payroll and oversee the weekly wage payroll
- Manage SARB applications for incoming/outgoing funds via banking channels
- Plan and monitor cash flow
- Ensure financial compliance with relevant regulations
- Monitor and strengthen internal financial controls
- BCom Degree with articles
- Solid experience in production costing within a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to manage multiple financial functions with accuracy and efficiency
- Experience in retail or manufacturing finance is highly advantageous
