Duties:
- Manage bank reconciliations, payments, and cash flow.
- Prepare and reconcile financial records, journals, and trial balances.
- Oversee debtors, creditors, and tax compliance (VAT, payroll, SARS)
- Assist with budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and compile annual financial statements.
- Support compliance, accuracy, and financial decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom Financial / Management accounting (articles completed)
- SAIPA (advantageous)
- Minimum 1 year post article experience
- Familiarity with Draftworx and EpiCor is a great advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, income tax, and VAT
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with excellent computer skills
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax compliance
- Experience in cash flow management, budgets, and forecasts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Draftworx/Epicor an advantage
- Understanding of IFRS for SMEs and related regulations
- Excellent diligence, problem-solving, and time management
- Effective communication skills and professional integrity
