Job Description
- Managing of financial accounting and controlling thereof
- Ensuring compliance with all shareholders, lender and government agreements
- Preparing budgets, forecasts and financial reports for management, shareholders and lender
- Preparing quarterly updates to financial model and auditing of annual financial statements
- Preparing treasury and cash management including foreign exchange exposure monitoring
- Advising and reviewing of finance related matters
- Overseeing and controlling of monthly payments to all suppliers and service providers
- Sourcing and managing relevant in-house systems
- Establishing appropriate policies and procedures by ensuring reporting systems run effectively
- Understanding Service Level Agreements (SLA) that has been negotiated and make sure payments in line with agreed costs and services
- Understanding economic development comments made and obligations made on companies.
- Working closely with contractors and suppliers by ensuring information required in order to prepare economic development reports
- Managing economic development auditing liaison and preparing of forecasts and budgets thereof.
- Preparing and Submitting TAX Returns and dealing with general tax, Vat and STC queries
- Paying monthly PAYE submissions and PAYE reconciliation (mid-year & annual)
- Managing and leading a small team of accounting specialist to delivery key purpose
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting
- At least 10 years working experience of which 5 years post-articles experience within the Renewable Energy Sector preferred
- 5+ Yrs Management Experience ideally
- Relevant experience in financial services, especially with projects and new startups will be advantageous
- Knowledge of Accounting software namely Great Plains GL and strong in MS Office \
- Knowledge of Alternative Asset Classes
