Job Description

To provide end-to-end travel management services to support employees and executives on business travel requirements.

Ensure seamless travel planning and execution, focusing on cost-effective arrangements and adherence to corporate travel policies.

Handle complex itineraries, manage relationships with travel vendors, and provide proactive customer service to ensure all travellers experience efficient, reliable, and safe travel arrangements.

Provide information on facilities and services, events and attractions, tours, travel routes and transportation schedules to niche clients.

Are You Someone Who Can

• Manage and mentor travel bookers, coordinators staff and the TMCs, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Build and maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, and travel service providers.
• Develop and enforce corporate travel policies and procedures.
• Supervise booking processes, ticketing, itinerary planning, and travel documentation.
• Run with Focus groups ,awareness campaigns to educate business on Travel trends and processes withing the Bank
• Monitor travel budgets, negotiate rates, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure exceptional service delivery and resolve travel-related issues or complaints.
• Ensure adherence to travel regulations, visa requirements, and company policies.
• Track KPIs such as travel spend, SLA ,booking efficiency, and customer satisfaction; generate regular reports for leadership.
• Oversee the use of travel management systems and ensure data accuracy and system optimization.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to streamline travel operations.

You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You Have

• Bachelors degree in business administration, Travel Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in travel operations
• Leadership experience (advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of travel booking systems (e.g., OBT, Amadeus, Galileo).
• Familiarity with travel regulations, events and visa processes.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and travel management software.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
