Maxxor is looking for a result driven and detailed orientated Front-end Developer who is passionate about all things related to front-end development and who would like to become a part of the company's culture and innovative IT work environment.
Job responsibilities:
- Design and develop web and mobile user interfaces using HTML, XHTML, CSS, Less CSS, SASS CSS and JavaScript
- Design and develop from scratch while understanding and implementing best Front end practices and standards.
- Demonstrate creative user interface competencies with software applications and web applications
- Work comfortably in an agile software development environment
- Display understanding of and uphold the principles of Scrum and Kanban processes
- Convert PSD/PNG design mock-ups to W3C standards compliant, cross-browser and mobile compatible HTML pages
- Design and develop Responsive and Fluid designs
- Provide technical guidance and instructions to other project team members
- Participate in technical design reviews and peer coding sessions
- Be involved in ad-hoc projects (when needed)
- Identify and address quality issues as soon as they arise
- Escalate all technical issues to the development and project team timeously
Job requirements:
- Have Matric with applicable qualifications within front-end development and design
- 3 to 5 years phenomenal track record of front-end development in Javascript libraries and frameworks.
- Advanced experience with implementing HTML5/CSS3
- Highly competent using Javascript within frontend development
- Working knowledge and competent with using Nodejs and associated Nodejs tools.
- Knowledgeable of JQuery and JQuery frameworks
- Knowledgeable within C# development
- Responsive/Fluid design and frameworks (Bootstrap)
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
- Competent with usability and accessibility best practices, specifically W3C.
- Competent in crafting efficient, optimized, and speed-minded code
- Experience of large-team development in integrated environments using managed source control systems
- Competent of usability principles and information architecture concepts
- Competent within server-side integration
- Strong knowledge of code documentation and handover process
- Competent of various development methodologies
- Competent of Internet technologies
- Competent with building interfaces
