Front of House Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to join the Port Elizabeth team,
  • Oversee the day-to-day front-of-house operations, including seating arrangements and guest flow.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, organization, and ambiance of the dining area.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and back-of-house team to ensure seamless communication and service.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house staff,
  • Develop and maintain staff schedules to meet business needs.
  • Monitor and manage inventory related to front-of-house supplies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary items.
  • Implement cost-control measures to optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Valid drivers license and own transport
  • Must be willing to work one week morning shift and the next week afternoon shift
