Role Description
The Front of House Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant's customer-facing team to ensure excellent customer service and efficiency. Duties include supervising dining staff, managing reservations and seating arrangements, facilitating smooth communication between the front and back of house, and resolving guest concerns promptly. Additionally, the role involves implementing service standards, training employees, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. This is a full-time, needs to be able to work flexable hours, position based in Pretoria Silver Lakes.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to train and motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service excellence, conflict resolution, and communication skills to address guest feedback and support a positive dining experience.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities to manage reservations, coordinate services, and ensure smooth dining operations.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to handle unexpected situations with professionalism and tact.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the restaurant or hospitality industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food, beverage, and liquor services is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
