Headwear24 is looking for a dynamic, creative and resourceful Production Coordinator to join its team. This individual must be a self-starter and team player, who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Production Coordinator contributes to the production process by assisting with the placement, execution and follow-up of manufacturing orders and by ensuring the timeous delivery of quality, profitable garments.
Job Purpose:
- To liaise between all departments in the company including Sales Coordinator, Production including CMT, Embroidery and Printing, QA, External Suppliers and Warehouse
- To execute an order from take on of full Production Pack from Sales Coordinator/CMT Production to delivery to customer
- Trouble shoot lead time delays during the production process
- On-time delivery of quality approved production to the customer
Order Take On:
- Prioritise new orders received daily
- Take on of full production pack from Sales Coordinator including:
1. Order Quantity
2. Approved Artwork
3. Sample Approval/Sealed Sample – where required
4. Proof of Payment
5. Delivery Date
6. Delivery Address
7. All correspondence regarding the job
- Source production facility either inhouse or through external supplier
- Order Fabric & Trims & ensure on-time delivery
- Raise Bulk PPO to secure production capacity
- Confirm dispatch of made up stock and raw materials for make-up/embellishment from warehouse to suppliers
Management through Production
- Track progress through CMT, embroidery/printing and external suppliers, QA, Pressing and Packing
- Manage all orders due for completion daily into warehouse by notifying all stakeholders (Warehouse, QA and Production Facilities both inhouse and external) including:
- Job number
- Quantity
- Development Co Ordinator
- Description/ Logo
- Delivery Address
- Proof of Payment
Management through Warehouse
- Receive Bulk Production notification of stock transferred into Warehouse by Job Number
- Confirmation of delivery with invoice number and delivery address to Warehouse
- Follow up on recon by warehouse for extra units and rejects
- Close off Job Number
