An opportunity has arisen for an experienced fixed-term General Worker - responsible for general housekeeping and maintenance duties. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for further information.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
• Medically fit
• Reliable
• Work in a safe manner i.e. ensure

all safety requirements are adhered to

• Prepared to work shifts, weekends and

public holidays

• Clean criminal record
• Must have own reliable transport to

and from work

• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively

during working hours

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to

work within a team

• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete

needed tasks without direct supervision

Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleaning oil spills on site and the farms
• Recording checklists after washing trailers

and trucks

• Washing trucks and trailers
• Fumigation of trailers
• Carry out all other reasonable instructions

from Supervisor

• Assist with general maintenance tasks on trucks,

trailers and yellow equipment

• Housekeeping cleaning of workshop and yard
• Cut fire lines with brush cutter
