Role Overview
Were expanding our sales team in Johannesburg and looking for a Global Account Executive. In this role, youll drive strategic growth, identify and secure new business opportunities, and build lasting client relationships. This is your chance to play a key role in shaping our presence in these markets while contributing to significant revenue growth as part of a dynamic and collaborative sales team.
Requirements
- Experience: 25 years of on-quota SaaS B2B sales experience as an Account Executive (or equivalent) in global SaaS markets.
- Market Expertise: Proven success in exceeding sales targets within high-growth environments.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional European languages are a strong advantage.
- Outbound & Pipeline Management: Demonstrated ability to source new opportunities through outbound efforts while managing a high volume of leads.
- Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in cloud security or compliance products is a strong advantage.
- Process-Oriented Approach: Organized and methodical in managing the sales cycle and handling multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Sales Stack Proficiency: Familiarity with sales tech tools, including HubSpot CRM.
- Collaboration: A team player with experience working across rapidly expanding, cross-functional environments.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic startup settings.
- Relationship Building: Strong energy, transparency, and skills in fostering long-term client relationships.
- Experience selling multi-product offerings.
- Background in cloud security or compliance products.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies for complex SaaS solutions.
- Drive Growth: Identify, pursue, and close high-value sales opportunities in different European markets, focusing on Scytale's InfoSec and compliance SaaS solutions.
- Build Relationships: Develop and nurture strong client relationships, addressing their challenges and aligning Scytales offerings with their business needs.
- Showcase Value: Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that highlight the unique benefits and features of Scytales platform.
- Collaborate: Partner with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with market feedback and industry trends in the DACH markets.
- Manage Pipeline: Oversee a high-velocity sales pipeline, ensuring seamless transitions from prospecting to closing.
- Exceed Targets: Consistently achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales goals, driving revenue and market expansion.
- Inform Strategy: Gather insights on customer needs and the competitive landscape to influence product enhancements and strategic planning.
- Leverage Tools: Utilize HubSpot CRM for accurate tracking, reporting, and pipeline management.
