Role Description
This is a contract role for an Architect, based on-site in Gauteng, South Africa. The Architect will be responsible for designing and developing architectural plans, managing and coordinating projects, ensuring integration between design elements and construction processes, and providing innovative solutions to complex architectural challenges. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with clients and stakeholders, generating technical drawings, and overseeing project progress to ensure it meets quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Architecture and Architectural Design
- Proficiency in Revit a must
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver innovative design solutions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Professional degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification
- Registration with a relevant professional architecture council is an advantage
- Experience with high-end residential or hospitality projects is highly desirable
