A boutique high-volume advertising agency in the Northern Suburbs seeks a creative visual designer with experience in print, electronic and social media.
Job requirements:
- The successful candidate should have an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work and can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into designs
- A passion for creativity and thinking out-of-the-box
- An adaptive design eye and exceptional conceptual and strategic thinking skills
- Be a visual storyteller with excellent written and verbal skills
- The ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients
- Be able to multi-task multiple deadlines Hard Skills
- Degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Marketing or related discipline
- 5+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
- Be proficient in both English and Afrikaans
- Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, PowerPoint, and Word. Proficiency in After Effects

Job responsibilities:
- Brainstorming and executing entire marketing campaigns
- Using modern design techniques and fresh concept styles to design printed and electronic advertising material as well as corporate identities
- Producing animated gifs and infographics
- Creating explainer videos by means of illustrations
