A family-owned business focused on products for the medical sector is sourcing a mature individual to join their small business in a half-day capacity.
Ideally, applicants should be a career Bookkeeper who is deadline orientated and accurate with experience using QuickBooks, SAGE, Pastel and SOS Inventory Management. Experience within the healthcare or import and distribution environment would be beneficial.
Consistently, timeously, and accurately capture all the transactions affecting the accounting records and ensuring that the resultant reports from QBO are complete and accurate (including any necessary underlying reconciliations/disclosures)
Oversee the Debtor’s Clerk
Work closely with the Office Manager to ensure that inventory management, in particular the SOS entries, are accurate and up to date
Prepare the VAT returns for both companies
Prepare the monthly payroll, including employee pay-slips and PAYE submissions for both companies
Ensure complete stock takes for both companies are conducted every three months.
Work with the Financial Director to correct any errors in the accounts and to prepare monthly financial reports for the management meeting.
Assist in any other finance-related tasks in both companies, including submission of tenders, obtaining NAPPI codes, price adjustments and developing price lists, as well as logistics
