Responsibilities
- Obtain work order records and file all related maintenance paperwork.
- Respond to the maintenance needs and file all related maintenance paperwork.
- Respond to the maintenance needs and keep management informed.
- Responsible for effective completing assigned maintenance duties
- Continuously check and inspect buildings to identify maintenance needs respond promptly and effectively.
- Checks exterior of buildings and identify problem areas but not limited to:
- Lights inside toilets, foyer, passages, stairways, parking areas, and external security lights.
- All fitting in the toilets (taps and basic urinals).
- All equipment such as air conditioning plant, standby pumps, sump pump, water tanks, water feature equipment.
- All fire equipment and ensure that all are familiar with hoe the emergency equipment functions and the emergency procedures.
Matric
2 - 3 years experience as a handyman with strong technical knowledge.
