As Head of Creative, you will be the senior creative authority for draftLine Africa responsible for defining and driving creative vision, standards, and excellence across markets. Youll partner closely with business and brand leaders to ensure our work doesnt just look great, but delivers real commercial impact. From final creative sign-off to mentoring top creative talent, this role sits at the intersection of creativity, culture, and business.

What Youll Be Responsible For:
Creative Vision & Output Excellence
- Own and champion draftLines creative ambition across brands and markets
- Provide final creative approval on all major work prior to client and stakeholder presentation
- Ensure output is insight-led, on-brand, culturally relevant, and digitally native
- Drive innovation across craft, content formats, social-first ideas, and consumer engagement
- Translate business and brand objectives into powerful creative strategies
- Embed effectiveness thinking into all creative output driving measurable impact, not just aesthetics
- Partner with strategy, insights, and social teams to develop performance-informed ideas
- Act as a trusted senior creative partner to business, brand, and broader AB InBev leadership
- Present and sell creative ideas with authority, clarity, and strategic confidence
- Build long-term credibility through collaboration, consistency, and proactive leadership
- Lead, inspire, and develop a multi-disciplinary creative team across Africa
- Build a culture of creative excellence, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement
- Coach creatives to elevate craft, strategic thinking, and confidence
- Keep teams energised, aligned, and connected to draftLines purpose and values
- Oversee creative resourcing, workflows, and production to ensure quality and efficiency
- Partner with business leads on priorities, budgets, and delivery timelines
- Ensure strong integration across creative, content, social, digital, media, and production teams
- Keep draftLine culturally ahead of the curve rooted in African consumer realities
- Stay close to emerging creative, digital, and platform trends to continuously evolve capabilities
- Bachelors degree in Design, Copywriting, Advertising, or a related creative discipline
- 12+ years experience in a creative or integrated agency environment
- At least 3+ years in a senior creative leadership role
- Proven track record delivering high-impact work across digital, social, and brand ecosystems
- Strong understanding of creative operations, production, and commercial delivery models
- Executive presence with the ability to influence and partner at senior stakeholder level
- Deep passion for creativity, storytelling, culture, digital innovation, and people development
