Head of Group Finance

Superb opportunity within a young, dynamic, hyper growth leading South African retailer has become available for a Head of Group Finance. This person will report to the Group CFO and play a critical role, service as a trusted business partner to the various stakeholders of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the financial reporting for the group
• Managing relationships with shareholders, including FP&A, reporting, risk, internal audit compliance, insurance, and tax
• Managing and overseeing the tax affairs of the organisation
• Liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice
• Managing the budget process for the group
• Managing BBBEE compliance and audits
• Assist in M&A and other commercial activities in line with the business plan
• Managing the insurance portfolio of the group
• Managing and overseeing the treasury function of the company
• Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place
• Manage statutory audit, internal audit, SARS related queries etc for the Group
• Implement and integrate appropriate systems in the Group
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory regulations, in conjunction with group legal

Requirements:

• CA(SA)
• 8 10 years post qualified experience
• Group experience highly advantages
• Retail experience highly advantages
