Job Description: Head of Human Resources (BPO)

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Human Resources department within a BPO setting.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Leading the HRBPs team
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Implement performance management systems to drive performance and ensure employee development.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Maintain employee records, handle HR-related documentation, and generate HR reports as required.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven working experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role within the BPO industry.
  • Thorough understanding of labor laws and regulations in South Africa.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Desired Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HR leadership role, preferably within a BPO environment.
  • Experience in managing recruitment processes and implementing HR strategies.
  • Proven track record of resolving employee relations issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
