Job Summary
Leadership of the RB Segment Marketing team. This team provides planning and marketing campaign management and design 360 marketing campaign activities for their segment. This spans the end-to-end RB business unit value chain to enable the segment to realise its strategic growth aspirations. Strategically position Absa in relevant RB segments through the development and implementation of innovative marketing campaigns. To drive the acquisition, awareness, preference, usage and loyalty to Absa through customer centric integrated marketing programs and initiatives.
Job Description
Accountability: Marketing Strategy
- Within the context of the R Strategic Plan, develop segment marketing strategies to drive consideration and business outcomes.
- Develop segment marketing plans with a clear focus to meeting business objectives.
- Use key insights and data to inform marketing strategy and plans
- Work and collaborate with Communications, Group Marketing and Communications to drive and ensure integrated marketing and internal / external communications.
- Collaborate and integrate marketing strategy and Go-to-Market plans with key product, channel and segment teams.
- Work with appointed Agency partners to develop industry leading marketing campaigns
- Develop 360 integrated marketing campaigns that change consumer perception, improve consideration and drive business outcomes.
- Select and execute sponsorship properties against RB and segment business unit strategic agenda. Execute all RB sponsorship properties to the agreed strategy, while driving synergies and integration with the marketing and business objectives.
- Work with the GTM, enablement and operations teams to build a single campaign view.
- Identifying the appropriate marketing channels to drive initiatives and ensure optimal placement. Develop and plan media channels in order to deliver against campaign requirements.
- Work with the Product and Channel marketing teams to assist with the successfully integration of channel marketing programs and relevant CVP launches to increase consideration and/or generate leads.
- Ten (10) years marketing management specialist experience at senior level
- Eight (8) years managing people
- Three (3) years experience in a Financial / service institution
