We have a large, dynamic and active music department and are looking for a Music HOD (SGB post) starting from January 2018.
Job requirements:
- BMus Ed Degree (or other appropriate music education degree).
- SACE registered.
- Proven administrative ability with the ability to manage part-time teachers within the department.
- Adaptable and compassionate, with good inter-personal skills.
- Experience in teaching class music.
- The ability to teach piano, music theory and at least one other musical instrument. ? Orchestra conducting experience.
- Piano accompaniment for individual instrumentalists and choir.
