Vacancy: Health and Safety Officer in production environment.
Location:Pinetown,KZN.
A suitably qualified and experienced Health and Safety Officer is required to join our organisation with immediate availability.
Minimum Requirements:
- Health and Safety certification issued by an accredited body.
- A minimum of 4 year's experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Proven experience in conducting HIRA's and IBRA's.
- Demonstrated experience in incident and accident investigations and reporting, PPE management with appropriate risk based thinking, all aspects of managing complete health and safety portfolio.
- Experience in conducting health and safety inspections. Evidence need to be provided in how these aspects were managed by yourself.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Full computer literacy (word, excell, all functionalities of email and Teams).
- proven track record to be provided in evidence of being able to perfom under pressure and be punctual with task management.
- Proven track record of administrative duties experience.This is critical and will be tested.
- Sound knowledge and recital abilities of certain parts in OHSA, regulations and SANS stds.
- Own transport
