Health & Safety Officer - Construction Industry

Hire Resolve is a reputable recruitment agency that specializes in providing staffing solutions for the construction industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Health & Safety Officer to join our client's team in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures specific to the construction industry
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
• Provide safety training and education to construction site personnel
• Investigate accidents and incidents and recommend preventive measures
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the construction industry
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation for construction sites
• Conducting of audits and inspections

Requirements

• Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
• 3 to 5 years experience as a Health & Safety Officer
• Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry
• Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
• Experience in writing reports and policies for Health and Safety
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Relevant certification in health and safety for the construction industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Driver's License and own transport
