Responsibilities
- Facilitate the intake process for patients by gathering and verifying essential personal, medical, and insurance information
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and in-person interactions, addressing any inquiries or concerns from patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the patient database, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and support staff to optimize patient care and workflow
- Educate patients regarding procedures, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling
- Assist in identifying discrepancies or issues in the intake process and propose improvements accordingly
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in patient intake or administrative roles
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare protocols
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse patient populations
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining patient confidentiality and data integrity
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently
- Comfortable working U.S. hours
