The key purpose of this role is to embrace our Global Premium Dream by disrupting our business operations and adopting a different mindset to achieve exponential growth rather than incremental progress. We have been collaborating closely with Global to align on a new approach that we firmly believe will set us on the right path for this growth journey in the premium market.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Contribute to coordinating the full Premium initiative for BUSA across departments (PMO role), including KPI/budget reporting and interactions with Zone/Global
- Leading the development of new Premium strategies (e.g. developing a strategy for the Premium Segment, developing a new SKU or a new brand, pricing strategies)
- Strategic cycle (i.e. development of 3 Year Plan and 1 Year plan) across BU
- Develop the Premium Beer 3 Year and 1 Year Plan according to the stage model approach
- Coordinate the development of the Premium Brand Plans and Channel plans for the BU with the Premium Marketing and Trade Marketing teams
- Develop and manage performance tracking systems and detect potential risks in the plan.
- Guarantee the correct translation of plan into actions by coordinating the different departments involved in the plan.
- Job will cover all areas: marketing, trade marketing, tech sales, sales, supply, logistics, legal and finance
- Regular update into the local BU leadership team, to Zone Mancom and to Global Premium.
- Developing reporting routines for the monthly meeting with the CEO
- Is the "Ambassador" of the BU, Zone & GHQ and connect local team with Zone or Global people when needed
- Support on the analysis, development, implementation and tracking of Growth Initiatives, challenging the business on a constant basis to improve its performance.
- Conduct monthly Channel, Brand and MACO Review, challenging the business in identifying initiatives and own these initiatives to harvest the identified opportunities.
- Responsible for conducting key projects when needed.
- Responsible for Managing the relationships between key external parties and conducting monthly reporting as per the agreement with these external parties.
- Tracking and Monitoring Premium Co Team STIs.
- Management in a FMCG environment
- Evidence of outstanding coaching and consulting skills
- IT / information management knowledge and experience
- Budget management
- Ideally international experience within Africa
- Sense of urgency, open mindset, team working and strategic thinking as a must have
- Start up mindset
- Strong understanding of the Premium market and Premium brands
- Degree level qualification or equivalent, MBA preferred
- 3years + relevant experience of best practice Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Project
