Minimum Requirements:
-Well presented, professional Afrikaans speaking individual (female preferred)
-Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (First and second languages)
-Matric / Grade 12
-Diploma / Degree, preferably in procurement
-Minimum 3 years experience in retail and industrial purchasing, stock and price negotiation A MUST (KEY REQUIREMENT)
-Computer literacy in Pastel Evolution advantageous
-Reliable and trustworthy
-High attention to detail and accuracy
-Able to handle large volumes
-Excellent verbal and communication skills with fluency in Afrikaans and English.
-Own reliable vehicle/transport
-Stable employment record A MUST (no job hoppers, long term employment at previous employers of minimum 1 year duration etc.)
-Contactable References A MUST
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Full buyer functions of wholesales plastic products supplier
-Placing orders
-Manage stock levels – Inventory optimisation
-Price negotiations
-Souring quality suppliers and stock
-Identifying / sourcing of stock items
-Contact suppliers in writing or by telephone for any queries
-Follow-up with suppliers concerning deliveries / special orders
-Assist Sales Department with special stock inquiries.
-Engage with suppliers / colleagues and clients in a professional manner.
-Stock Taking
-Provide feedback to management.
Salary: ± R 15 000.00 gross (Depending on experience)
