The person applying for the position must be in possession of:
- Vermeer operating certificate or have experience in Vermeer drilling equipment
- Must have at least 5 years` experience in the field of horizontal directional drilling
- A valid driver`s license - preferred code 10
He must also be able to:
- Operate drilling equipment and various other construction equipment.
- do Directional drilling for installation of underground communication lines and / or other lines.
- have experience drilling in both standard and high-risk areas, such as areas with live utilities safely.
- Read, understand and use wayleaves and drill plans
- Have knowledge of utility depths and placement.
- Possess general knowledge of construction practices and be familiar with equipment.
- Understand and follow company policies and procedures related to safety.
- Ensure Company assets (vehicles, equipment, tools, etc.) are properly and continuously maintained in good repairand secured in a safe manner.
- Fill in related documentation to perform duties
