Job Title: Hotel General Manager (GM) - Democratic Republic of the Congo

Job Description

Primary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality

Job Duties

• Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth running of all departments
• Develop and implement strategies to maximise hotel revenue and profitability
• Manage and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licencing regulations
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
• Monitor and control hotel expenses and budgets

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or similar role
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and industry trends
• Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems effectively
• Must be able to speak french

Education

A degree in Hospitality Management or related field

Experience

Happy to take on someone looking for growth that has been a director of FNB and rooms divion manager.

Minimum of 5 years in a senior management position within the hospitality industry

Knowledge And Skills

• Proficient in hotel management software and MS Office
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
• Strong financial acumen

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Hotel Management or related field
• Experience working in a luxury hotel environment
