This position will be based in Durban and reporting directly to the Divisional Manager: Wastewater.
Key responsibilities include:
- Draughting in Revit.
- Drafting in AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Setting up and administering projects in the ACC/BIM 360 environment for multi-disciplinary collaboration.
- Developing and managing project specific draughting libraries.
- Revit Certification from a recognised institution and/or a minimum of four (4) years working experience in Revit and ACC/BIM 360.
- AutoCAD Certification from a recognized institution and/or a minimum of 5 years draughting experience in AutoCAD 2D/3D.
- Draughting experience within the civil, mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines within the water and wastewater fields (i.e. pumpstations and treatment plants).
- Strong understanding of engineering workflows and a broad knowledge of other design disciplines.
- BIM knowledge and experience.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
