- A minimum of three (3) years of proven experience as an HR Officer is essential.
- Demonstrable experience working for a construction company is a mandatory requirement.
- Solid understanding of the South African labour legislation and its application in the construction sector.
- Proficiency in using HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and a friendly, approachable demeanor to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle sensitive situations and resolve issues efficiently and fairly.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in managing records and ensuring compliance.
- Adaptability: Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment and dealing with the unique demands of a construction site.
- Integrity: High level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
