Junior HR Administrator

  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including but not limited to employee onboarding, offboarding (Exit Interviews), SHE, record maintenance, and personnel file management
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and company policies
  • Coordinate recruitment processes such as job postings, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and preparing employment contracts
  • Assist in administering employee benefit programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits
  • Help employees understand and navigate their benefit options
  • Maintain accurate records of employee compensation and benefits
  • Calculate employee salaries, wages, and deductions with precision and efficiency using SAGE payroll processing
  • Handling employee inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving basic HR-related issues
  • Maintain positive employee relations and assist in fostering a healthy work environment
  • Assist in updating and maintaining HR policies and procedures
  • Distribute updated documents to employees as needed and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Coordinate employee training programs, including scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, and managing training materials
  • Support the implementation of professional development initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the HR information system
  • Generate reports as required
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements by maintaining accurate and confidential HR records including personnel files, time and attendance records, and other HR-related documentation
  • Assist in special HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, performance management programs, and HR process improvements
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with employees, managers, and the HR team
  • Provide guidance on HR-related matters and ensure timely responses to inquiries
  • National Diploma in HR
  • Sage Payroll is essential
  • Own reliable transport is essential as traveling to clients/sites may be required
  • Mining / Engineering Manufacturing Industry experience is essential
Desired Skills
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes/practices/and employment legislation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Accuracy in data management
  • MS Offfice

  • 2 to 5 years
Desired Qualification Level
  • Diploma
