Qualification Required
- Matric Certificate with Mathematics
- Relevant Human Resources Diploma or Degree.
- Three (3)
- Five (5) years' Super-User experience: configuration; integration management and user support;
- Three (3)
- Five (5) years' Human Resource or Payroll system experience;
- Access Control and Time Attendance applications experience advantageous;
- System Support experience advantageous;
- Kronos system experience will be advantageous;
- Advanced Microsoft Office;
- Basic understanding of SQL language advantageous;
- Knowledge and experience of system testing methodology; and
- Training facilitation experience.
- Participate within a team to contribute towards the teams' objectives;
- Follow and apply the ITIL methodology;
- Conduct and document system, functional and scenario testing of development;
- Conduct root cause analysis and use judgement and prior learnings to identify the issue and propose the best solution;
- Ensure quality assurance methodology is followed;
- Adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle;
- Analyze effectiveness and usage of initiatives;
- Innovate by keeping up to date/abreast with the technological world, new products and IT industry challenges;
- Demonstrate the ability to interact with business stakeholders and users, to gain consensus, build relationships to maintain user confidence;
- Gather requirements by conducting and following the business analysis process and documenting these requirements;
- Ensure the applications comply with legislation and business rules;
- Able to determine the requirements for an enhanced system or a new system;
- Analyse trends, patterns and processes to facilitate a proactive approach to managing applications;
- Show a continual improvement mindset by analyzing and innovating in all areas of responsibility;
- Management of 3rd parties to ensure business delivery timeline and requirements are met;
- Deliver timeous and effective support by investigating and resolving application errors, data discrepancies and queries;
- Ensure system integrations are automated where possible and seamless;
- Ensure the system is accessible;
- Manage and maintain security;
- Ensure the system is user-friendly, reliable and consistent;
- Facilitate effective training for system users;
- Generate and update relevant training material;
- May be required to participate in and/or manage projects from time to time;
- Facilitate and participate in meetings; and
- Participate in industry user groups and forums.
