You will work closely with the Global Head of HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Recruitment, Payroll, and Shared Services teams, contributing meaningfully to live HR processes in a distributed, global organisation.
Responsibilities
What Youll Be Exposed To
Global HR Operations & Shared Services
- Support the delivery of core HR operational processes across multiple countries.
- Work closely with the HR Shared Services (HRSS) team on in-tasked and outsourced HR activities.
- Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee inductions.
- Assist with intra-company transfers, including documentation and system updates.
- Ensure payroll documentation is accurate and submitted by monthly cut-off dates.
- Maintain accurate employee records by updating the HR Information System (HRMS).
- Log, track, and resolve HR queries using a ticketing system.
- Assist with HR data compilation and reporting for:
- Annual Talent Management processes
- Workforce and compensation reporting
- Work extensively in Microsoft Excel, including:
- Formulas (e.g. VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF, SUMIFS)
- Data cleaning and validation
- Structured reporting templates
- Support South African statutory compliance reporting, including:
- Workplace Skills Plan (WSP)
- Annual Training Report (ATR)
- Employment Equity (EE) reporting
- Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives within HR Operations.
- Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and stakeholders.
- Provide employees with guidance on HR policies, processes, and documentation.
- Support HR Business Partners and line managers with local HR administrative queries.
- Deliver a professional, service-focused HR experience in a remote working environment.
