Key Performance Output
The successful candidate, reporting to the Assistant Manager IMC and will be responsible for the following:
- Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies, and practices.
- Plan and forecast maintenance/outage work scope according to resources and spares availability with minimal interruption to operation in order to deliver accurate maintenance plans.
- Draft maintenance/outage plans in conjunction with engineers and technicians and obtain sign-off
- Communicate maintenance/outage plans to operations and engineering through maintenance and planning meetings.
- Close out all completed maintenance activities (including outage) and update the system accordingly.
- Maintain and update maintenance asset register.
- Monitor progress of planned versus actual activities to ensure on-time delivery of maintenance/outage plans.
- Responsible for efficient record keeping of maintenance records.
- Analyse and report on maintenance data to identify failure modes and root causes of maintenance problems and to identify problems timeously.
- Perform trend analysis and report on infrastructure performance and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure that all affected stakeholders are up to date with the outage activities in their area.
- Plan, schedule, supervise and coach subordinate activities within processes or services to achieve efficiency and quality goals.
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:
- Diploma in technical, mechanical, electrical, civil, industrial and electronics is essential
- 3 years' technical operational experience and working with Oracle eAM /SAP PM is essential
- Trade Certificate recommended
- Code B drivers license
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
